WHO ARE WE:
Black Hotelier celebrates Black Hoteliers globally who are making strides in the hotel industry. We purpose to shine a spotlight on Black-owned hotels, BnB’s, holiday homes, guest houses etc. for the benefit of rewriting black history, as it may, and drawing on local and international markets to these tourist destinations.
Our objective is to provide support to Black Hoteliers, thereby enhancing the quality of their offerings to the global market, attracting investors to them, and ultimately increasing bookings for this niche group of hoteliers.
To carry out this vision, we have a Board of Directors, each with their unique background and experience in the industry, who host virtual and face-to-face meetings, conferences and get-togethers to network and bring support to fellow black hoteliers.
WHY BLACK HOTELIER?
In recent years, we have seen Black people take a decisive step to support each other in their business interests. This has been brought to light in America by businesses such as “We Buy Black”, “Official Black Wall Street,” and the Black History Month movement.
There is a movement that is the Renaissance, is black consciousness, is Pan-African, and Black Hotelier is a part of that movement.
In this new world where Black people are alive to their potential and possibilities, Black Hotelier purposes to contribute to the exchange of black money into Black hands. This is not with the goal of excluding other races, but it must rather be considered as a journey of healing from a history of a people hating their own identity. In this new world, we celebrate each other’s successes with our monetary action.
Booking your next holiday through our platform is an exercise of self-love, black consciousness and your active contribution to the awakening, the renaissance.
